Photoshop Tutorial

Image
http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-a-Photo-into-a-Stencil/ This tutorial was easy to follow. They provided a step by step instruction for how to complete this project as well as animated pictures to help. This effect can be applied to any picture and i really like how it provides some what of a mystery bc not everything is exactly defined so you can take it how you would like to. The effect was consistent and looked exactly how it did in the tutorial.

The future of photography

I believe the future of photography will be amazing and we will have advanced a lot in this field. I think we will have lenses for our eyes similar to contact lenses but with cameras on them. Along with this device there will be a little chip planted behind your ear or some place easily accessible to doctors which will have a bluetooth setting connected to the lens with an i cloud storage of some sort. The lens in your eye will constantly record everything you do.      Every aspect of what you see and it will be stored in the little chip implanted behind your ear or where ever. Then you will have some sort of remote device where you can go back and look through your memories and play them through your lenses and share them with others. The camera quality will be as if you are seeing it with your own eyes or better. This will be a good and bad thing because you wont really have any physical cameras anymore and everything you do and say will be recorded...

Semester Reflection

Quality of work:      My quality of work for this semester definitely got better towards the end. In the beginning I didn't know what I was doing and was turning a lot of my assignments in later then the due date. Recently i have been more creative with my assignments and taking more pictures not just for the index print but to get the perfect picture for the assignment. I have started to pay attention to little details such as lighting, positioning, the background of the picture, and different angles. Also in the beginning of the semester I thought my first ideas were good enough and there was no need to try other things and i've learned in order to get the best results you must try many different things. I have been starting out with my first idea and then going off of that and coming up with more creative and better ideas in the process. Effort:      I do actively take photos not just for this class but for the fact of I just enjoy doing it it has so ...

Lost In The World Questions

1. The over all concept of the video is that people are to busy on their phones to realize the real problems of the world and the media is consuming people's minds and almost brainwashing them. 2. Yes, the black and white gives it that depressing feel along with some of the scenes. For example, the one where the girl is jumping off the skyscraper and instead of trying to talk her out of it and help her they are all video taping and taking pictures of her. 3. I think it's more of an examination because they are putting into a video how they feel the world is today with cell phones and how certain situations aren't handled correctly because people are too busy video taping or being afraid of what people are going to say or post about them afterwards.

A camera in every pocket

1. I believe that having high quality cameras on cell phones have increased not only the popularity of photography but also opened up a lot more doors for people and provides them with more opportunities because people don't go anywhere without their phones. 2. With how much technology has progressed just within the past few years the possibilities for the future of photography have not limits. In a tv show i found on netflix, people put in contacts and have a chip placed behind their ear and the contact lens in their eye records every minute of their life and they can go back with a remote and re watch memories. 3. I do not agree with Mr. Olmos because even when friends are just hanging out and take selfies or go to the beach and take pictures you are capturing the moment you capture the mood, the feel, the setting everything in one photograph and no matter what the picture is of it's art. Some people may view it differently and may not see what photographers see in pictures...

what is photography? 1. He asked the audience "is it photography?" because the photo had been edited 2.What first got him into photography was drawing. That is what started his passion. 3.He didn't know much about photography and in the beginning saw it like the photograph was done as the picture was being taken. 4.He started exploring more into the world of photography and expanded his prior knowledge of photography and tried new things. 5.He wants them to seem real in the picture its self even though its not in real life. 6.He attempts to create the picture as real as possible but make it also known they are fake. 7.Same perspective, lighting, which makes it impossible to determine where one picture ends and another one starts. 8.Because he can use his imagination an create a place. 9.He starts with a drawing and the combines different pictures and then edits them. 10.The only thing that limits us is our imagination.

Hydrophobia
1st image this is of a pair of scissors that are cutting threw a house. this is a dark image. the sky looks like its about to storm. inside the house looks like a woman looking at the house being cut in half. 2nd image an image of a woman in a meadow on a ladder taking cloths off of a power line. she's hanging wet clothes on a power line so maybe that as well as how high up she is could represent that she likes to take risks. this mainly uses color. its taken from a lower point of view 3rd image this image is of a man on a journey in life and he's going through smoothly and suddenly things start to fall apart and thats why he sees his reflection int the cracked sections of the water. The man in the photo looks confused meaning he doesn't know what to do he's lost and is trying to figure out how to get his boat back on the smooth un cracked water. 4th image there is a boy who is punching himself in the face probably because he's frustrated with himself or is disappoi...
1. Outgoing, creative, bubbly, self-conscious (about looks), easy going 2. Yes, i think based on her pictures she was successful in her effort to go and travel to many different places and experience different things. 3. I think that jenny would be a good mom, neighbor, or friend because based off of her bio she says she's an explorer and a writer and people that go and experience different places have a better understanding of what its like to be put in different situations and would be better at problem solving.
